1. Crazylight Boost 2016 is not as light as the name suggests

Since adidas dropped adiZero and added Boost to the Crazylight brand, it also killed its lightest shoe line. With a weight of approximately 300 grams for the 10.5 US shoe size of the three adiZero versions, the Boost 2014 and 2015 versions have increased their weight to about 350 and 380 grams. Crazylight Boost 2016 goes a step further by using 100% Boost in midsole, increasing total weight by up to 450 grams.

Although heavier but with a minimalistic design and rounded outsole corners, Crazylight Boost 2016 does not feel heavy on the field. Plus, the adiZero Crazy Light’s light weight also means they are very unstable and SprintWeb heat-presses are easy to touch on the legs.

2. CL Boost 2016 is the 3rd basketball shoe to use full-length Boost

Unless adidas Basketball is trying to redefine “full-length,” the 2016 Crazylight Boost is not the first full-length shoe. Boost. If D.Rose 6 is not full length but has 2 Boost units separate in the nose and heels, distinguished by a layer of midsole StableFrame in the middle then D.Rose 5 Fully re-use Boost that spreads evenly from heel to toe. And just before Crazylight 2016 launched adidas launched Rose Englewood Boost in the same price range using D.Rose 5’s entire sole. It would be more accurate to say that Crazylight Boost 2016 is a pair with midsole made entirely from Boost or like adidas calls Boost “heel to toe” but maybe let the marketing department do it a bit too much sometimes. adidas did the same thing with the slogan “Best Running Shoes” at the launch of Ultra Boost.

3. Crazylight Boost 2016 will also be “Primeknitized”

Versions available from the end of July use woven fabric Jacquard (almost similar Flyweave by Nike, Jordan) reinforced with a thin layer of TPU as well as two plastic pads near the ankles. Version Primeknit coming soon, leaving the above details that are designed with almost the reed Ultra Boost so. According to the initial comments, the Primeknit will hug the legs more evenly due to the removal of two plastic pieces on the sides, but at the same time you will be more difficult to fine-tune your way and will also be somewhat uncertain.

Nightwing2303 received the version and did a detailed review video about it. You guys can be up weartesters.com for reference.

4. Roll cage, the 2016 club highlight, was not in the original design

In several images revealed a couple Crazylight Boost 2016 with logo Andrew Wiggins with the same material Jacquard at the upper but the wire layout and absolutely no sign of the roll cage on the outside of the toe. It can be clearly seen from the above image that the Boost section in the nose is not only exposed but also protruding completely. One of Boost’s damaging weaknesses is the low ruggedness that makes the inclusion of full-length midsole Boost There was a lot of delay in getting into sneakers and a cage roll was the way adidas handled this problem later. The “Roll Cage” here is a piece of plastic TPU that is applied to the outside of the toe where Boost is exposed to form part of the outsole / midsole to help keep the shoe from tipping over causing ankle injuries.

Nick Daiber, the father of the hottest low-top shoe last summer is a 22-year-old guy who dropped out of college to study design. It is known that this will be the last shoe James Harden wears before switching to his signature line next year.

In an interview with Solecollector, Daiber said, “The Crazylight line is inherently focused on making the best shoes possible with minimal weight but it (Crazylight Boost 2016) show a shift from that way of thinking. Full-length Boost make the shoes not heavier but actually on the football field they are very “light”, even when your feet are tired you will not drown thanks to the presence of Boost. This change comes from the fact that we want users to be more comfortable. ”
