Detailed review Jordan CP3.XI

Detailed review Jordan CP3.XI

The arrival of the 11th edition of the Jordan CP3 was quite a surprise when it was reported that the shoe line was discontinued after 10 years of release. No fussy, fancy, CP3.XI version really has the “quality” of Chris Paul.

I. Design, Material

No Flyweave, no Flyknit, no bootie, CP3.XI uses simple material from mesh fabric and synthetic leather in the nose. Its only innovative, new thing is the strap in front of the shoe. With the “Home” or “Welcome to Houston” color scheme, the strap is covered with a little extra velvet. Other color schemes will be a little different like Rocket Fuel uses a large amount of velvet instead of mesh fabric. Fasteners also have the CP3 logo embossed on the leather at the heel, which is very impressive.

The midsole is made quite basic, thick, wide with Zoom on the nose and heels. As for the outsole section, there are three different types of textures: one part is recessed with a large amount of rubber in the heel for durability, the other uses the standard herringbone for toe grip and the nose uses another type of vein to combine. between grip and durable.

Evaluate:

  • Half up for most people, the right size if the legs are extremely slim.
  • Fit is “standard”
  • Nasal stenosis should go long will be uncomfortable

I just started testing Jordan Brand shoes since the beginning of last season (with Super.Fly 2017) so I didn’t expect Jordan shoes to be so narrow. Except Super.Fly is a bit more comfortable, Why Not Zer0. 1 with CP3.XI are very narrow even though it is half the size. Of course I can still play football with these two pairs, but for casual wear, it is imperative to have up one size.

Except for the narrow nose that makes playing football uncomfortable for a long time, the CP3.XI does not have anything to criticize in this regard. The body of the shoe hugging does not leave a space, the high heels and the thick cushion are very hugging, standard lockdown. The chicken tongue and thick mesh fabric are also designed with a half bootie that is easy to pierce and not to slip the reed aside. The speed lacing system from decades ago works very well with four pairs of cables that pull your feet firmly in place.

III. Adhesion

Evaluate:

  • Adhesion of the peak size
  • Relative durability

There are shoes that belong to the “look is to know” and the sole of the CP3.XI really is. The ability to cling to the floor and prevent dust of CP3.XI must be in the top, especially the tip of the toes is very “airy” to avoid dust. The herringbone in the middle is a bit tight, but enough for any yard. Very rarely do I have to use my hands to clean when experiencing these shoes.

The durability of CP3.XI is also quite difficult to say because the total time playing outdoor (smooth yard) is not too much. However, I took it to play football from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh and now the new shoes are worn at the edges, which is very normal. Sole Bros also ranked CP3.XI in the top outdoor pair for some reason, most likely because the herringbone is quite dense and the rubber on the nose and heels is more durable than usual.

IV. Buffer / Cushioning

Evaluate:

  • Standard zoom in nose and heels
  • Sensitive, smooth
  • The damping is quite good
  • Phylon is tough, quiet after break-in

Equipped with a large Zoom pad at the nose, the CP3.XI appears to be very comfortable on every step of the run. Although having hardware and not as flexible as the old Zoom set of CP3.IX and X but CP3.XI is quieter and bouncing better. The Zoom pad at the heel is a bit small, hexagonal and has partial support for the Phylon layer.

One thing I am quite satisfied with in this XI version and Super.Fly 2017 is that the Phylon layer is quite tough, stretch and bouncing. Similar material is used on Soldier XII, giving a very firm feel without making you feel a bit “needy” like on Soldier XI because Phylon is “flat”. Those who like the light, flexible nose like the old two versions may take time to get used to. And those who liked CP3 from the early lives like version I or II will find it much more familiar.

V. Support

Evaluate:

  • Wide, sturdy soles
  • Fit is great
  • Plastic strap helps increase nasal support

The design of the CP3 series is always aimed at stability and certainty and this version is no exception. The nose is wide, the sole is flat and the body of the shoe tightly hugs the foot of CP3 quality. In addition, the plastic strap is also tied to the nose to prevent your feet from slipping, increasing the containment.

BECAUSE. Conclusion – Air Jordan CP3.XI

Pros:

  • Material is simple, sure
  • Hug your feet from heel to nose
  • Foot pads are bouncy and firm, stretched
  • Good grip, more durable than the two recent versions

Cons:

  • Narrow nose, not suitable for raft legs

True to size for those with narrow legs but most people will need up to half the size. CP3.XI suits almost any position, except for those who need super light or super smooth shoes.

After more than 10 years of development, the CP3 shoe line is a bit lacking compared to other signature shoes. If another friend, Melo, just had to go down, CP3 has not been completely “lost”. The CP3 11 is a very stable, solid shoe with the high performance of last NBA season.

If you hit G, F who are in need of a simple but high quality shoe, the CP3.XI is a shoe worth checking out. As a model of shoes that is not hot, its price will soon drop to the ceiling and fit most people.
