Adidas’ counterattack with Nike’s legendary slogan “Athlete”

When you walk around any Niketown store around the world you will easily come across the famous Nike slogan expressed by your gentleman. Bill Bowerman – One of the former members of the founding council of the company with the content: “If you have a body, you are an athlete”.

Interestingly, adidas, a direct competitor of Nike, is kicking off a new campaign this year: “Sport Needs Creators” with the opposing slogan: “If you call yourself an athlete , create something ”. And adidas has just released the latest promotional video clip showing famous athletes such as Aaron Rodgers, James Harden, Von Miller, Brandon Ingram, Paul Pogba, … while training and playing with very clear content. Clear: “Sports Needs Creators -Shot The World -Be the Next – Do Something Different” to respond delicately but equally drastically to Mr. Bill Bowerman’s slogan.
