UPPER

The material is no different from MB.01, but PUMA has used more plastic materials to make the upper sturdy, suitable for more people. One problem I encountered in MB.01 is that the fabric + fuse at the nose is quite soft, creating a feeling of slipping and easy to flip when playing in high-roughness courts. MB.02 again offers an almost surety of the 90s, 2000s boots but with the materials of the 2020s.

MIDSOLE

The main material is high-density EVA with Nitro Foam in the toe and heel for a very similar Nike Cushlon feel that comes with Lunar/React. This cushioning is very soft with a slight bounce in the toe and heel. The “peacock” design from Melo Ball’s Phoenix logo has influenced the MB.02 version’s sole with the curves of phoenix feathers on the sole that comes with herringbone. Personally, I would prefer these roads to do the opposite for optimal braking but at least the courts in Vietnam will rarely make you slip when wearing these shoes.

The soles themselves are not thick, but they are deep, so the durability of the MB.02 does not become too “sloppy”. At least you’ll be able to plow for a decent amount of time if you don’t break every day.
