Identification Nike Kobe AD – The beginning of a dynasty

The basic design of the Kobe AD is not much different from the Kobe versions from IV onwards. However, Kobe AD still retains quite a few features from the most recent version, XI, with a rubber sole covering the midsole. Upper is made from mesh fabric with Flywire. The mesh fabric is not covered with Fuse, giving Kobe AD a pretty “clean” appearance, especially compared to Kobe XI EM at the same price range.

It is not clear if the Kobe AD will use discrete midsole, but the AD buffer is very similar to the XI with the Lunarlon and Zoom Air in the heel. 5. Stability / Support / Containment

Except for the clearly curved nose compared to the old versions, Kobe AD has a design that looks quite solid and solid but does not have a wide base like XI’s. Instead of having both the outrigger on both the heel and the toe, Nike has narrowed it down to a nose-only.
