Nike Hyperdunk 2015 review

Nike Hyperdunk 2015 review

Referring to Nike’s national shoe line, there is no baller that is too unfamiliar with the name Nike Hyperdunk. True to its name, the Hyperdunk line of The Swoosh, people often associate the pit shoes that are used by players with strong fighting style. Over 10 years of development, Nike Hyperdunk is increasingly designed to fit more positions but still does not lose what the essence of this shoe has to offer.

Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!

Here I will bring you one of the shoes from the Hyperdunk family and have the simplest design and are inspired by the future Air Mag shoes Nike Hyperdunk 2015.

I. Design, Material

Unlike previous versions of Hyperdunk, 2015 was designed by Leo Chang, so it is not too strange that this shoe owns a section of “crotch-high” shoes with “relatives” with Nike Kobe. 9 earlier

This is also the only version of Hyperdunk (up to now) to use all hyperfuse material for the entire shoe body, along with the “giant” flywire cables hidden underneath the material.

Next is the midsole with two Zoom Air pockets and a larger-than-usual heel that makes the shoe stand out most wherever it is.

Finally, the sole is a solid rubber outsole with the combination of herringbone sole and the circles that have been seen in Hyperdunk 2013 to help create good grip and support for rotation.

The entire shoe body is covered with a thin layer of Hyper Fuse, but gives the user a very solid and snug feeling from the first wear. But the ability to embrace mostly lies in the Hyper Fuse, and I don’t seem to feel anything from the Flywires fibers.

The material is somewhat stiff when first put on, but after a while the material will soften and hug the legs more.

The heel padding of the shoe is arranged very well by Nike when arranging the padding according to each area of the ankle to help the ankle to be perfectly protected.

Although the ankle part is very comfortable, the heel feels quite wide and does not hug the heel and this is also a problem about the shoes many users complain about. But after getting used to the shoes, this can be a not so serious problem.

III. Adhesion

The grip of the shoes from the Hyperdunk family is not a thing. The base works very well on both indoor and outdoor courtyards, although it doesn’t hear the squeak like other brothers, but the base works very well.

A drawback of this outsole is that the circular area uses a very shallow base so it is often slippery on the dusty outdoor yard surfaces when performing fast turns.

so worn that the plastic piece was blown away :)))

Because the sole is somewhat shallow and is placed in a place subject to a lot of pressure on the foot, soles – tearing in this area will be very likely to occur on outdoor courtyards.

But the outsole of Hyperdunk 2015 in my opinion is one of the most durable outsoles of this national shoe line when I continuously plow shoes on Hoa Lu yard for a year and a half but still do not need to stick the soles 🙂 ))).

IV. Buffer / Cushioning

For the predecessor Hyperdunk series, the cushioning may be the strength that contributes to the branding of this shoe, but for Hyperdunk 2015 this will definitely be a big minus point.

Equipped with Nike to equip two Zoom Air bags on the nose and heels instead of the Lunarlon like the two previous brothers. At first when I used it, I almost never felt the Zoom Air anywhere, most of the smoothness comes from the Phylon cut in the heel. But it took a long time for the feeling of Zoom Air to slowly emerge.

While using a solid Phylon on Hyperdunk 2015 will make the Zoom bags harder to compress, the damping on the shoe isn’t bad and helps keep the break-in shoe running smoothly and well. with many positions on the field.

V. Support

Regarding the ability of the shoes to support, Hyperdunk 2015 is not inferior to the previous versions, but in my opinion is somewhat more solid. Thanks to the wide sole combined with the dense Phylon makes the shoe extremely secure and always feels secure to the foot.

In addition, the support of the high neck restrains absolute ankle flipping. The cuts behind the shoe collar contribute to the wearer to be more comfortable during the dance steps.

One thing that I still do not like is that at the outsole of the shoe, the mid sole is spilled over the outsole to help the shoe grip well on the wooden floor after the brakes. But on outdoor courtyards or courtyards with high abrasion, this porous part is worn away quickly reducing the shoe’s stability.

In some cases I had my ankle flipped for this part but not too serious.

BECAUSE. Conclude

Nike Hyperdunk is still a shoe with stable performance and suitable for many different positions, especially in the inner ring, on outdoor surfaces, shoes are still used by some ballers. However, there are still a lot of limitations from the design and materials that prevent the shoe from reaching as much expectations as consumers expect at $ 150.

But with the failure of Hyperdunk 2015 is the premise for the success of the shoes of the Hyperdunk family, most notably Nike Hyperdunk 2016.
