Nike Hyperdunk 2017 Low

As a shoe that has given every fan’s hope since the first images appeared, will Hyperdunk 2017 be as expected?

I. Design, Material

The low version of the 2017 HD has a bold Nike design. Elongated, logo near the heel with beautiful cuts just below the ankle. The semi-woven semi-mesh material is quite sturdy without being cheap. In addition, details such as the logo from the rubber, tongue and heels from the leather are also a rather sophisticated combination from the designer.

Next is the Phylon midsole layer, the React gut is rounded with cross-section lines that bring a bit of nostalgia from the 2013 version.

Finally, the base is composed of round frames that closely resemble Kobe 9 and the old adidas Supernatural line.

Evaluate

  • Fit the right size
  • Slightly narrower than 2016
  • Slight pain on the tongue if the last piercing is used

With a sturdy, thin fabric, Hyperdunk 2017 is pleasing to the rider thanks to a tight hug. The shoe collar area and the reed have thick padding to help hold the legs and create comfort. One point you should note is that if you pierce all the holes, it will create more pressure on the toes and it will be quite uncomfortable if tightened.

Similar to the recent Nike pairs, I still took the 10.5 size and fit still as expected. Not long, not wide. Compared to the 2016 Hyperdunk, the version is somewhat more comfortable because 2016 uses a stronger material (Fuse instead of fabric). A good fit and softer materials also mean that the 2017 HD is suitable for more leg styles.

III. Adhesion

Evaluate:

  • Good grip on all types of pitch
  • Poor insole strength

The circular design of Hyperdunk 2017 gives excellent grip. Except for poor durability, nothing to criticize about this outsole set. Good grip, good dust resistance and reasonable design for all positions. Those who like outdoor can buy EP or sell in Asia and have XDR tag.

IV. Buffer / Cushioning

Evaluate:

  • Solid
  • Hard
  • Not thick not thin
  • High sensitivity
  • Shock absorbent level
  • Need a long break-in

As expected, Hyperdunk 2017 with React cushioning is pretty normal. The smoothness you feel is mainly from the included Ortholite pad.

The React material on the 2017 HD looks just as stiff as the outer Phylon layer. The damping level is quite good, not really smooth, but the outsole with a design that simulates the foot enough to make every movement still comfortable. One thing I noticed is that going long will be quite painful in the soles of the feet.

Hyperdunk 2017 Low Cladding

After this time, Nike will definitely have to think about making a React or React full-padded basketball shoe with a different foam or Zoom. The midsole of 100% React is now on running shoes.

V. Support

Evaluate:

  • Solid material
  • Fit well
  • Wide, solid base

Keeping the tradition of Hyperdunk, the 2017 low has not been cut down on materials and the fit is still very good.

Hyperdunk 2017 Low Buffer

The base unit remains wide and stable on both the nose and heels. Hard Phylon material with a foot sole design also provides support for the entire shoe frame.

Hyperdunk 2017 Low fringe soleNo outrigger needed

With the exception of the low neck that might be intimidating to some, the 2017 Hyperdunk low doesn’t show any hint of fragile shoes.

BECAUSE. Conclude

Pros:

  • Light, slim material, fit well
  • Extremely good grip
  • Delicious support

Cons:

  • Midsole is very tough, requiring a long-term break-in
  • Van sole is too thin if you want to outdoor
  • Painful ankle area if tied all wire

Suitable for all positions

Hyperdunk 2017 Low

Although no longer the technology leader of Nike, HD 2017 has also helped to launch the React technology field in the basketball world. Although there are still some points that could be better like cushioning, the performance of Hyperdunk 2017 is very stable and suitable for more people than 2016.

Hyperdunk 2017 Low

With prices falling around 3 million, Hyperdunk 2017 high and low versions are suitable for all positions but still contraindicated anyone who likes smooth shoes. In addition, the FK version using wool is more expensive (about 4 million) but there is not much difference for the base. Contact: KicksGeeks.
