Robert Williams x Vans - from underground comics to sneakers

Robert Williams is known as a famous comic artist. His works have appeared on magazine covers Thrasher in the 80’s, before that there were freak comics in the 60s and 70s. That is why the name Robert Williams and his creativity have influenced the development of underground culture in general and skate in particular.

In 2009, Vans released several designs featuring classic paintings by Robert Williams, followed by the rare appearance of 13 pairs of Vans painted by himself. But in this latest collaboration, the BST will be released more widely to fans including Vans Slip-On 98 Reissue, Authentic 44 Reissue and Sk8-Hi 38 Decon LX. The artist’s works are reappeared on 3 familiar Vans models.
