6 things you need to know about the Nike React Hyperdunk 2017

Hyperdunk 2017 is set to launch this August. Did you know enough about these shoes yet?

Nike continues to be quite confusing when naming the material differently than it was years ago. When Nike / Jordan first appeared, Nike / Jordan called this Performance Woven on the Jordan XX9, then changed it to Flyweave and started using it on mid-range products like Kobe Mentality 2. Now it calls Nike Hyperdunk material. Jacquard. Jacquard is just the common name for the fabrics of this fashion (the name given to the man who made the first appliances since 1804). So is the Nike Hyperdunk 2017 material a new fabric, or is Nike just forgetting what it is doing? Keep in mind the catalog revealed earlier that HD 2017 also uses Lunar instead of React.

Although it has been “revealed” in reports earlier this year, the use of this technology by Hyperdunk 2017 is still extremely surprising. This is probably the most obvious blood change for Nike in 10 years after Lunarfoam and Lunarlon. Initially, React cushion is very responsive and smooth and has the same elasticity as Boost from adidas. Not only that, this rounded base design also enhances the compression / push effect as well as prevents foot flipping.

According to Nike, React and VaporMax are made directly by the manufacturer in Oregon, USA to avoid stealing brain matter. Nike also says that this is its best foam material ever. React is described as “bouncing, soft and firm,”, is Nike overstating? Only try to know.

Few people remember exactly how much this is a Hyperdunk, but if counted by year (from 2008 to 2017), it is already 10 years for the Hyperdunk line. One thing few people remember is that after the OG 2008 version, it was not until 2010 that the name Hyperdunk returned. Then why are there 10 pairs? Because the 2009 version uses the name Hyperize instead.

Nike Hyperize improve defects in grip, durability but lack of certainty. In addition, Hyperize was banned by the Detroit Pistons after too many players were injured.

No matter how detailed it is, at least Hyperdunk is still in development and is currently the oldest line of team shoes ever.

Kobe IX is probably still a traction monument to the Nike basketball. Using a foot-shaped deck with cleats placed at the points where the most contact is required, Kobe IX consistently provides perfect grip on extremely poor pitch. Currently, Hyperdunk 2017 will continue to inherit this design. Combined with React, is this Nike’s answer to adidas?

Hyperdunk 2017’s styling and sole have a very similar feel to the adidas TS Supernatural Commmander / Creator. While adidas is engrossed in Boost, Nike is taking advantage of both this new technology and extremely unique design. Perhaps under the hands of Nike, this soles will not be as overlooked as the adidas era anymore.
