Detailed assessment of Peak TP9 VI

Over the past 5 years, Peak TP9 is definitely the company’s most successful signature shoe line. After a significant change from version 3 to version 4, version 6 is also undergoing an impressive transformation in design. Here, Kicks Geeks will join you in analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of this shoe model.

I. Design, Material

Instead of continuing with the compact body and the sturdy fuse material, it is a bit “faulty.”
“Time”, TP9 VI was a turning point when using upper made from knit and leather. The design of the inner bootie chicken neck goes against the traditional look of 5 years ago. In addition, TP 6 also has a rather unconventional upper when the knit layer is outside of the ankle cushion. However, this part does not really do any noticeable effect.

The midsole layer is not much different in nature but seems to be much softer than versions IV, V.
It was so soft that the Peak had to wrap plastic around the heel area. The nose is still the same

It can be seen that it is quite similar to the sole of Jordan XI, Crazylight Boost 2016.

The midsole layer also mutated from the traditional herringbone form into a cleat pattern
The circle branches under the foot. Thick, durable rubber is the highlight of my body
like in these shoes.

Evaluate:

  • 1 size wider than the old models
  • Hold your feet well if tightened
  • Pasterns are comfortable but may be a bit loose for some

Most of the Peak models before now fit the right size or need to be up half the size for me.
But since the Plus editions are released, I always have to go halfway down the road
TP use knit. Specifically, I went 44 with TP IV, V but 43 with TP IV Plus and V Plus. TP VI’s turn is 44 “as wide as a canoe”, but it is even wide
a little bit more than size 43 of IV and V Plus.

Walking on the foot, TP VI brings a sense of smoothness and comfort than the old Peak models. Everything from the upper part, the reed to the midsole of TP 6 brings comfort. This is the difference when upgrading from fuse to knit.

But in return for this soft and smooth, TP VI feels a bit loose even when tightened. If there is one more piercing or strap, the feeling will be more solid. However, TP VI does not slip on the heel and the feeling of loosening does not make me uncomfortable, even those who like comfortable shoes will feel satisfied.

III. Adhesion

Evaluate:

  • Van sole multi-direction, multi-area
  • High durability compared to older models

Using thick, circular base makes TP VI officially one of the pair
outdoor plowing shoes are the best for defenders. Thick lines and deep grooves
help avoid dust and gravel while ensuring the longest “plowing yard” time for you.

Your direction will decrease slightly, but the cushioning smoothness will compensate for you.

The TP 6 outsole unit is region-designed near adidas PureMotion line providing stable grip on any angle.

IV. Buffer / Cushioning

Evaluate:

  • Sensitive nose, Dual Gradient technology
  • The foam outside is very soft and smooth
  • Good sensitivity but not as good as TP 4, 5

As above, I also said that TP VI is one of the quietest Peaks I’ve ever seen
to try on. However, this also means that its sensitivity is slightly reduced compared to TP IV. In return, we have
help comes from the P-Boom Plate. Although the feeling of “bouncing” is not as clear as TP V, but the degree
Nasal sensitivity is not bad at all.

The damping capacity of this new model is also much better. The compression of the heel has to say
is great even not seen on the TP line. The new Peak only has Howard 3 and P-Motive technology is better in this regard.

V. Support

Evaluate:

  • Midsole, out sole firmly
  • Wide base edge
  • Solid material, very hugging heels

With a base that is somewhat thicker and softer than the IV and V versions, this version 6 uses a wider base
with a soft heel pad. The P-Boom part also “carries” the function
heel rest instead of the previous Tenacity Unit.

The only minus point is probably the wiring that makes me not feel really sure
foot. You should come to the place to try and choose thick socks that go with TP 6 for a good feeling
