Detailed assessment Peak Howard 3 knit

This is the first time I got this inspiration when experimenting and writing articles about a Peak shoe. It can be said that Peak Howard 3 has completely surpassed the previous 2 versions in almost every way. Here we invite you to the review:

I. Design, Material

There is no mesh fabric, no fuse, no synthetic leather on these shoes. Up to 90% of the upper layer is made from knit, which is a fairly soft and flexible knit rather than hard knit like some Flyknit or Anta KT3. Except for the hard plastic covering the mid-foot sides and the heel cup with fuse, these are real knit shoes from Peak, something no one thought of.

Apart from the rather sturdy and inelastic nose, the thick knit sides are extremely flexible. Next is a very thick and smooth cushion with protruding heels to help lockdown.

The midsole is extremely thick and stretched with Peak’s new P-Motive material. Part of impromptu soles is quite fancy. Featured above the base layer is the carbon fiber.

Evaluate:

• Right size, similar to the other Peak pairs
• Hug your feet
• Extremely smooth padding, smooth lining, midsole smooth

With its high neck and semi-sock design, this Howard 3 knit is very similar to Crazy Explosive’s first color scheme. The padding around the collar is very thick and covers the heel. There is almost no excess nose and the entire body of the shoe feels very comfortable.

In addition to the PU pad, the midsole part of Howard 3 is very smooth and goes very well. Absolutely not break-in like the previous two versions.

III. Adhesion

Evaluate:

• The rubber is extremely sticky
• Wipe may be required if playing in dusty courtyards
• The base is quite durable, can be played outdoor for 3.4 months or more

I personally brought Howard 3 to try several types of yard from Xuan Huong Lake (paved wood), Thao Dien yard, PKKQ yard (rough outdoor yard) and had no problems with grip. With most of the surface of the yard you meet in Vietnam, there are not many places that make it difficult for Howard 3. In addition, my first impression is also the adhesive of the sole, just by touching you can feel clear this. Until now, I’ve only met this sticky rubber layer from Anta KT 2.

In terms of durability, Howard 3 is capable of plowing twice as much as double signature adidas, Nike. Just enough for you to play comfortably for a while to have to worry about sticking the base.

IV. Buffer / Cushioning

Evaluate:

• Extremely quiet
• Slightly thick, reducing the sense of pitch
• Extremely good damping
• Transition is okay

Before I knew Howard 3, I had never heard of P-Motive. It was not until I went to the place that I realized why Peak did not use it earlier. The previous two Howard versions have very tough and hard cushioning, but this time it’s very chewy and soft. The feeling when clicked is almost like a couple of Dame 3 has broken-in. Sure but elastic, very good absorption.

Howard 3 is also the best partner in ligament surgery and P-Motive’s damping ability is not inferior to adidas’ Boost or BrandBlack’s BlackFoam.

Compare with adidas Howard 2

The weakness of this cushion is probably that it is a bit thick, sometimes the yard feeling is not very good. With a little thinner, a more balanced shoe.

V. Support

Evaluate:

• Enough parts to make sure
• Fit well
• Knit material is a bit soft, causing a feeling of loosening in the legs if taken for a long time.

Originally made for Dwight freaking Howard, Howard 3 is also equipped with teeth. We have two plastic pieces on either side to help support the heel, prevent the foot from slipping, two layers to block the heel and a large piece of carbon fiber under the sole.

The cushion is soft and smooth, but it keeps the form well and won’t fall if it changes direction quickly. The rubber also covers the midsole slightly to help prevent tipping. With quality fit and lockdown, we have a really strong shoe in every way.

The most obvious weakness I can see is that nothing connects the heels to the two highest piercing holes for sure around the ankles. As the knit material is quite soft, some of you may find it a bit unsafe. Finally, the shoelace is a bit thin, looks less sturdy and disproportionate to the overall.

BECAUSE. Conclusion – Peak Howard 3

Pros:

• Material is very luxurious compared to the price range
• Soft and smooth Knit
• The bouncing foot cushion is very light but extremely smooth
• Excellent grip and durability

Cons:

• Easy to get dirty
• The heel cushion is a bit thick
• Quite heavy
• The shoe collar has not yet created an absolute sense of security

Suitable for those who need a lot of foot cushion. For all positions especially inside. Fit the right size.

To fully enjoy Howard 3’s brother I recommend buying the knit version, but if you prioritize certainty then buy the fused version. On the other hand, Howard 3 is a surprise 2017-2018 season in terms of hugging, grip, and buffering.
