Nike KD 10 detailed review

Nike KD 10 detailed review

It was at this point 10 years ago that Kevin Durant signed a contract with Nike and immediately received his first Signature design – the Nike KD1 model. Over 9 years of competition, along with the success, ups and downs in each season, Kevin Durant appeared with 9 signature designs in different shapes. Despite being released a long time ago, KicksGeeks still decided to review the Nike KD 10 to serve the needs of our readers! Now version 11 will be reviewed by the KicksGeeks team as soon as possible!

I. Design, Material
Evaluate:
Flyknit material is very soft and light
– Good lookdown
Beautiful design in a very clean way, Kevin Durant once said that he wanted his shoe line to go in the direction of fashion

The thicker and larger wiring system creates an accent with the Flynit upper body. The signature nose-to-heel Zoom base inherits from the KD9. The most anticipated upgrade is in … putting your feet in the shoes. This was quite difficult for the KD9 and the KD 9 Elite was even more difficult. And indeed getting your foot on KD 10 is very easy, each crime also leads to easier ankle flipping ..

KD 10’s material is made from flyknit mixed with TPU fiber. This material helps the basketball shoes to be soft at the collar, reed but still flexible on the toes, on the hips (making it easier to put on the shoe.) This material has been applied by Nike to the Kobe 11 Elite very well. Popular.

Conveying mostly original Zoom Air cushioning and unique lacing system with large laces, Durant spoke directly of the large laces design: “The laces are quite large and striking, recognizable. it’s my shoe from afar. This is also the element that Leo and I discussed throughout the design process. The key to this design is the innovative Flyknit and the sizeable shoelaces, the Flyknit is the material I have been wanting to feature in my range of years ago.

II. Hugging / Fit & Comfort

– Good foot hug
– Soft
– Suitable for feet half size long, big feet

With the Flyknit material and the sole design as I mentioned above, the shoe gives you the ability to put on the shoe with ease. Combined with the design of the upgraded shoelace system, the Nike KD 10 is one of the best heel-to-toe shoes I’ve ever worn, head-to-heel hug (some argue that the heel is not as hugged as the rest. .) But…

Half size down, seriously. The shoes made for Kevin Durant, you see, KD has very long feet, ballers have this same foot structure, or are true size. Otherwise, I would like to sincerely recommend half size if you do not want to shout when breaking down shoes 1 2 the first time.

Anyway, KD 10 still offers great lockdown, shoelaces work really well!

III. Adhesion
Evaluate:
– Extreme grip when in contact with the clean yard
– “Vacuum cleaner”
– The soles are not durable if the court is difficult.

I brought KD 10 to the outdoor field about 5 6 times, and here is the result ..

When you wear the KD 10 outdoor hit, the sole works very well and is very clingy. However, with the characteristics of the KD shoe line, it is best not to bring the KD 10 out to beat if you do not want to puncture the Zoom bag and wear the sole as shown.

Bring out the outdoor yard already, so what if you bring KD 10 into the indoor yard? Nike KD 10 is truly a pair of indoor shoes, meets a clean yard, KD 10 will be like a fish to meet water, the circular soles will give you the maximum grip that I have not experienced yet a set that is capable of. more clingy (personal opinion).

However, it is at the indoor floor that is clean and dusty, with a little indoor yard cleaning regularly, KD 10 will become a true vacuum cleaner, after a few minutes you will have to clean the base. So if you intend to play indoor, KD 10 is a great choice, but is a dirty indoor yard, I recommend you to consider other options!

IV. Buffer / Cushioning

Evaluate:
– Zoom challenges every level of smoothness
– Zoom bags are easy to damage when playing outdoors
– Increased jumping abilities

The Nike KD 10 features Full-length Max Zoom Air cushioning that extends throughout the shoe. Don’t be too disappointed if you don’t feel the smoothness that is normally present in the KD 9 when you first get into the KD 10. Be patient, the 10th version takes a moment to break down. Once broken down, the Nike KD10 gives you an absolute level of smoothness, and you’ll jump very high.

However, if you play in the middle position, the Nike KD 10 would be a dangerous choice. The reason lies in the lack of good ankle protection of the shoes, you will not want to flip your ankle after hitting the ground to catch a rebound ..

All-shoe Zoom cushion challenges every quietness

fun fact: The NIKE KD 10 PE shoes continue to use the Max Zoom sole for the entire length of the sole to help protect Kevin’s injured knee.

V. Support

Evaluate:
– Extremely comfortable at break down: smooth, grip and softer
– Legs, but low ankle protection
– A little pain in the toe

Due to the unsuitable hugging of my feet or my feet, after playing for 2 hours or more, I begin to feel the toe pain phenomenon. If you are a style player or step back or sudden acceleration, you should consider other options like the Kyrie shoe, the KD 10 will take time to soften to suit your gameplay.

BECAUSE. Conclude

Pros:
– Great smoothness and hugging
– Extreme cling when meeting clean yard
– Nice design, luxurious materials
Cons:
– Takes time to consider options (position, style of play, yard, foot structure)
– ankle protection is not good
– Only suitable for certain yard surfaces, quite troublesome with dusty indoor yard surface
