COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Max 180

There are collaborations that don’t last for more than one season, but the relationship between COMME des GARÇONS and Nike goes back decades, and any time the two brands come together, everyone has to take notice. First appearing on the SS18 runway floor at Paris Fashion Week, the Air Max 180 was released in three color schemes, with pink used as the foundation on each color scheme. Editions are available exclusively at Dover Street Market, followed by select retailers. Even for non-pink sneakerheads, this version is a reason to reconsider.

Kendrick Lamar x Nike Cortez Kenny 1

After a long partnership with Reebok, Kendrick Lamar joined Nike in the past year. With the Nike Cortez being the favorite shoe of Kung Fu Kenny, it’s not surprising to see the two constantly launching a series of impressive Cortez versions. And recently, to celebrate the 45th anniversary of this shoe model, both names have released Cortez Kenny 1 versions inspired by the famous DAMN album. K. Dot’s shoes (Kendrick Lamar’s nickname) are simple but delicate white with red line details. The main highlight is the very large stylized DAMN letter located on the outer body of the shoe, replacing the familiar Swoosh logo mark. This DAMN also replaces the NIKE lettering on the black reed, creating an impressive look for this edition.

Nike Air Max 98 “Gundam”

After the ambiguous appearance of the Air Max 98 (the forgotten brother of Air Max 97) in a collab with Supreme in 2016, new color schemes of this version began to show up in early 2018. The “Gundam” color scheme is inspired by the RX -78-2 armor of the popular Gundam sci-fi series, with blue and white upper, with red details and Air cushioning in the same color. – a unique color for 90s sneakers.

ACRONYM x Nike Air Presto Mid

Following the arrival of the Air VaporMax Moc 2 version, both Nike and ACRONYM continued to keep fans excited with the release of the Nike Air Presto Mid pack comprising of three color schemes. Keeping the signature design language adopted by Errolson Hugh (founder of ACRONYM), the Air Presto Mid version will carry the famous mid look.
