Detailed review adidas Dame 4

As a fairly popular shoe in the NBA today with impressive design and performance, now the adidas Dame 4 will be dissected by Kicks Geeks for your reference.

I. Design, Material

Faithful to the design from version 1 to now, Dame 4 has the most “polished” upper in the Lillard line. The entire shoe body is a neoprene layer covering the entire foot with mid neck design. Midfoot overlay and toe shoe is a different material color scheme.

One thing that’s different about Dame 4’s wiring is that the first four piercing holes will go directly through the upper, reinforced by Fuse. The last 3 piercing holes are used with a foam coated cable for extra security. However, on my pair there was a section that was almost broken, but no one had the same.

Midsole made from single layer Bounce cushion instead of two layers like Dame 2, Dame 3 is another difference. Finally there is the “Time Flow” pattern with very thin cuts on the sole.

Evaluate:

• Right size or up half, not narrow not wide
• Hugging very close to the feet, good lockdown
• No break-in required, very smooth from the very first time

The first thing that comes to mind after (extremely struggling to put my shoes on for the first time) is that the Dame 4 is just like a diving suit for the feet. The stretchy fabric and neoprene does not leave extra space in the shoe body as well as the foot hug is very comfortable.

Similar to usual, I also go 10.5 which means up 0.5 size compared to my foot and that is an extremely accurate choice. Many of you, when buying the right size, also said it was tight and had to change to another size or resell :(.

With all shoes made of soft material, Dame 4 is extremely comfortable from the very first session. The removal of all the hard plastic details from the previous version makes Dame 4 much easier to go.

III. Adhesion

Evaluate:

• Good grip in wooden yard, need break-in
• Durability in average
• Need to stick the sole after 2-4 months depending on pitch and intensity

Possessing a somewhat bizarre set of cleats, but Dame 4 did not disappoint on all types of pitches. However, I still recommend that you take it out to the outdoor rough yard to play a few sessions for a flat base, helping to increase grip.

In addition, with the thickness of the cleats, you probably only have 2 months if plowing all kinds of outdoor courts (including with gum plates).

V. Buffer / Cushioning

Evaluate:

• The bounce is very firm and tough
• The sensitivity is better than the previous two versions
• The damping is quite good

Dame 4’s Bounce Buffer isn’t very special, but it’s very stable and quiet. By reducing the density of the Bounce and the streamlined design, we get a more responsive buffer and still ensure smoothness. In return, the big men that need more damping ability will probably favor other Bounce versions such as Dame 2, 3 or Rose 773.

Among the products that use the adidas basketball’s Bounce feature, Dame 4 is probably the best defender fit. Porous, lightweight and highly sensitive. However, I am very excited if Bounce can be combined with Boost or what material bounces in the nose.

V. Support

Evaluate:

• Wide soles
• Midsole wrapped high
• Fit is great

Is the “elegant” version of Dame since version 2, the design of 4 is practical but quite subtle. All the “frames” of the shoe are hidden inside as a heel stopper or sole plate.

Along with the adidas wide sole tradition and the great grip of the upper Dame 4, this is a very stable and reassuring shoe for every player (unless you like a high neck)

BECAUSE. Conclusion – adidas Dame 4

Pros:

• Fit very well, not redundant not lacking
• No need to break-in
• Foot pads are bouncing and smooth
• Certainly gon

Cons:

• The sole is slightly less durable
• Not quiet enough for those who are heavy or have joint problems

Suitable for all positions but preferably lighter weight.

Dame 4 is a pretty cool change from adidas, as evidenced by the fact that Dame 4 is with Crazy Explosive 2017 as the two most-traveled pairs in NBA this year. Compact design, beautiful colors and excellent performance. Although Dame 4 is not a hot shoe model, but it is much welcomed by the same soft price as Kyrie and PG.
