Nike Kyrie detailed review 4

I. Design, Material

Designer Benjamin Nethongkome has brought a new look to the Kyrie 4 line. Combining the circles on the design with suede material, Kyrie 4 creates a softer yet more luxurious feel than before.

The upper of the Kyrie 4 looks pretty basic with a solid Engineered mesh / fuse nose and leather heel. The mid-neck design and thick padding around the heels and reed also give a very familiar feel.

If Kyrie 2, 3, once tied, will hug your leg without a glass, then Kyrie 4 brings a similar but lighter feeling. Any space between the shoe and the foot is filled, especially around the nose. However, compared to Kyrie 3, Kyrie 4 has a feeling of “gap” around the ankles. This “gap” is not because it is open or not, but because the leather material is much softer than the Kyrie 3’s fuse.

This change makes going to Kyrie 4 more comfortable but in some cases I crave the feeling of a snug but sure as of the other two versions. Like always, I still go 10.5 but I feel like I can get down to 10. If Kyrie 2, 3 I can go up to size 11 but maybe this is not possible in Kyrie 4.

* Update: I have tried both sizes 10 and 10.5, while 10 is a little more uncomfortable in the nose, the ankles are much stronger. At the same time, the Power is Female version I tried has a firmer antique material. The advice for you is to go true size if possible, do it at most.

III. Adhesion

Evaluate:

• Super grip but needs break-in
• Durability is quite good

The first impression of Kyrie 4’s buffer is “Oh, this is quieter than Kyrie 3”. Cushlon layer has better compressive capacity than Phylon’s in Kyrie 2, 3 especially around groove. The small “tabs” around the zig zag in the nose are the smoothest and are also very good pedals when the ground is completed.

The heels are still quite “silent” because I rarely use heels, but it can be seen that the heel-to-nose transition is quite good due to the rounded sole design. In addition, the buffering ability of the buffer is also better than Kyrie 3.
