Review adidas Pro Bounce 2018 in detail

As soon as I put my foot in and look at the wiring, I understood why Pro Bounce was pushed so hard by adidas. The wiring system is extremely generous with extremely wide distances and goes from near under the toes over. Each piercing includes a cable that connects down to the base, providing absolute hug.

Combining wiring with a high neck design, Pro Bounce High leaves almost no space on the legs. Although the heel is a bit high, the Geofit material gives good enough flexibility so that you do not feel too restrictive. 10/10 for a pair of boots.

For most people, Pro Bounce will fit the correct size. I bought a half size of 10.5 and fit very well, but my nose is still a bit longer. However, I don’t have any problems, even a little extra nose can avoid the foot numbness if I go for a long time.

III. Adhesion

With wave-shaped wavebone, zigzag-shaped herringbone, circle is one of the best cling pattern. Pro Bounce uses a lot of intersecting circles for good grip and stable durability.

After a break or two, the Pro Bounce soles get the best grip. The density of rubber is thick and the distance between the lines is wide, making dust not get stuck.

Pro Bounce’s thick sole and hard rubber material make it possible for you to add it to your outdoor formation without worrying about punctures. However, Pro Bounce is still not an outdoor couple, so please go with other couples too.

IV. Buffer / Cushioning

Evaluate:

• Bounce 2 layers
• The nose is smooth but slightly thin
• The heels are thick and have good shock absorption
• Transition is very smooth

Contrary to its aggressive appearance, not only the upper but also the midsole of Pro Bounce is much thinner than the outside. The Bounce cushion under the toe feels a little thinner than the Dame 4. As a 2-layer bounce like Dame 3, the nose is firm at the bottom, soft above and has a very slight bounce.

The heels use a bounce amount almost twice as thick as the nose with excellent shock resistance. This thick yet quiet nose design makes Pro Bounce suitable for most positions, except for those who need a lot of toes.

Using an outsole design almost like the Pure Motion 2009 series (Supernatural Creator and Rose 1.0, Beast series), Pro Bounce feels very smooth when running on almost any angle.

V. Support

Evaluate:

Pro Bounce High’s support comes from the sturdy upper layer and is extremely hugging. I almost ignored the usual details like the heel block just because the heel of Pro Bounce hugged the heel from the first time I put the shoe on. The heel cup of Pro Bounce is actually very low, lower than most other shoe models like the Dame 4, Super Fly 2017.

The base of Pro Bounce is also very wide and stable for all movements. This rounded outsole style makes you still feel a solid fulcrum without being as restrictive as traditional outrigger design.

The rubber and Bounce cushions also contribute significantly to the reliability with the foot cover design at both the nose and the heels.

At first glance, adidas makes us think that Pro Bounce has two separate midfoot shanks. In fact, they are linked together and meet right on the toe of the shoe. The four holes you see on the base are where this piece of plastic goes. This design makes Pro Bounce retain good soles support but better direction.
