Review details Jordan Super.Fly 2017

Designed for Blake Griffin, Super.Fly 2017 also benefits from this superstar accompanied by the cloudy promises of React technology. Here are my feelings after a while.

I. Design, Material

Unlike other Super.Fly versions, the 2017 version has a little bit of Jordan XI direction and has a more compact design with mid neck. The tongue part is also outside instead of inside the shoe body, promising a good hug. Around the heel is a glossy leather material with two ribbons to help hold the heel to your feet.

Like HD 2017, Super.Fly 2017 has a rounded base Phylon with React core. Outsole consists of large and thick circles instead of thin circles like the 2017 HD.

Evaluate:

The design of speed lacing around the leg tape system and inner bootie makes SF 2017 very hugging. The upper material is quite thick to bring a feeling of tightness and tightness.

The side strap system helps to wind up quite convenient

Fit the right size but not so numb if you go for a long time. Around the heels, there are two dog bone pieces that help to avoid slipping of the heels while being quite smooth. This design has been quite familiar to people who go to Jordan for many years.

III. Adhesion

Evaluate:

  • Good grip
  • High sole strength

Not as tight as HD 2017, but Super.Fly 2017 covers all directions thanks to the omnidirectional base. The thick, hard material base makes the grip not very responsive but still very stable.

Especially the base of the SF 2017 outdoor is because it is very thick and hard, something quite strange compared to the old version. Plus the React and Phylon cushioning also means you’re free to stick the sole if you want.

IV. Buffer / Cushioning

Evaluate:

  • Solid
  • Hard
  • High sensitivity
  • Shock absorbent level
  • Softer if break-in

If you cut out the SF 2017 layer you will see a very thick React in the heel inside the Phylon layer. But overall, Super.Fly 2017 is not really smooth. Much of the original smoothness is still from Ortholite.

In some situations, there’s still a slight bounce from the React class so it’s not that bad. The feel of the 2017 SF is solid, stiff and responsive, but it doesn’t offer much comfort. After a period of break-in, Super.Fly 2017 is somewhat quieter than HD 2017.

V. Support

One of the best support shoes of the year thanks to its ultra-compact design and leather material (the Team version uses mesh fabric) as well as a wide, sturdy sole.

BECAUSE. Conclude

Pros:

  • Extremely hugging legs
  • Luxury material
  • Durable sole
  • Soft foot cushion after break-in

Cons

Super.Fly 2017 is a shoe that loves feet. If you don’t need cool, smooth shoes like Boost or Zoom, this is not a bad choice. SF 2017 is also suitable for all positions and can accommodate outdoor courts as well.
